Did you know that almost every single ailment known to man is treatable with a natural remedy? What if we told you that all the copious amounts of money spent on doctor’s appointments and medication could be invested in cheaper alternatives?

We want to focus on aromatherapy, the ancient and holistic practice of extracting oils from plants and formulating them into aromas that heal the body and mind. The sky’s the limit when it comes to how you can add aromatherapy products into your lifestyle, ranging from the traditional bottled oils, to oil-diffusing jewelry.

Discover the wonder that is aromatherapy, as we evaluate how the inhalation of different kinds of essential oils is changing millions of lives worldwide by boosting emotional and physical health:

1.Migraines and Headaches

The sad truth is that no one knows what causes migraines and headaches; it could range from anything to fluctuations in hormones, or even diet related. Thankfully, mother nature has gifted us with peppermint oil, which is one of the most popular essential oils for headaches. The potent properties of lavender and rosehip oil treat tension migraines thanks to their soothing and stress-alleviating powers.

2. Anxiety

There are so many natural ways to boost your mood we often neglect as more often than not, they require time that we do not have. Staying on the go while remaining calm and focused is the goal for anyone who has a busy lifestyle that accumulates stress. Might we suggest the soothing abilities of ylang-ylang, sandalwood, and roman chamomile, which, when distilled into an oil, harnesses the unwinding scent to aid relaxation.

3. Insomnia

The inhalation of bergamot, lavender, sweet marjoram, and cedarwood oils, used on their own or combined, have proven to be effective in aiding a calm and restful sleep. We strongly suggest that you purchase products that infuse the oils that we have, or better yet, to buy the pure essential oils and add a few drops to your pillow before bed. Another great idea would be to add the essential oils to your bathwater and allow the sedative scents to usher you into a sleepy state.

4. Focus

If you are looking for memory-enhancing oils, look no further than clove and clary sage. Both clove and clary sage are flowers that are steam-distilled to extract their strong cognitive performance boosting properties. For mental clarity and productivity, we suggest the sesquiterpene-rich frankincense or sandalwood, as they are renowned for treating Alzheimer’s.

5.Joint and Muscle Stiffness

There is an excellent reason that most of all spa facilities use aromatherapeutic oils for their client’s massages. They lubricate the hands of the therapist, allowing them to deliver a better massage, while their client calmly breathes in the lovely scents of the oils. The best anti-inflammatory and swelling-reducing essential oils are eucalyptus, chamomile, evening primrose oil, and rosemary oil.

 6.Hair Loss (Alopecia)

Alopecia areata is a condition where hair diminishes in patches on the scalp, leaving a few bald spots. Use essential oils such as lavender, rosemary, and thyme as alopecia treating anecdotes for decades, and it is no wonder as they increase circulation to hair follicles, promoting hair growth and health.

7.Chemotherapy Side Effects

There are too many terrible side effects that chemotherapy poses, with the most common two being nerve problems and lack of appetite. Ginger, lemon, and peppermint act as great scents to curb the nausea and appetite-loss that results from the metallic taste that many cancer patients experience.

8.Fatigue

It is true that at least everyone has felt a little more than lazy at least once in their lives, but full-on fatigue can be something different to deal with altogether. Imbalances in the body, as well as emotional stress, can lead to chronic fatigue. We strongly recommend the aromas of basil, cinnamon, orange, and bergamot to give yourself a bit of a boost.

9. Nasal Congestion

Seasonal allergies are somewhat common, and with sinus pressure being the result thereof, doing something as simple as breathing can be a challenge. Diffusing an essential oil into the air and inhaling the scents will alleviate the congestion that you are feeling as active ingredients (such as the menthol in peppermint) work to break down the mucus membranes inside the nose, opening up the passages for breathing. We suggest that you try oregano oil, clary sage, and peppermint oil.

10.Nausea

If you are a pregnant woman who is suffering from morning sickness, we are happy to show you a natural alternative that will support you throughout your pregnancy! And if you are not, keep some of these essential oils nearby for you to inhale directly from the bottle or diffuse the next time you are stuck with nausea; fennel oil, peppermint oil, rose oil, and ginger oil.
