No matter how different we all are as human beings, happiness is our common goal. Not one person doesn’t want to be happy, but that doesn’t mean it’s an easy process. Living a positive lifestyle is something that has to be worked at, and it’s our responsibility to develop our own tactics to make it happen. For those seeking more positivity in their lives, these simple tips might come in handy.

 1 . Use a Journal

A journal can be a fantastic positive practice of self-care. Many people like to use a gratitude journal in order to support their mental health. A gratitude journal is the practice of writing down the things that we are grateful for every day. These could be things about yourself or the other people who you cherish in your life. These things could also be good memories, achievements and positive experiences. People tend to focus on the negatives and ruminate on these experiences. The key is to focus on the good and allow these thoughts to guide the way you view yourself and the world.

2. Surround yourself with positive people

Now, we’ve all had those relationships that we know just aren’t serving us. Whether it is a partner, a family member friend or co-worker. Sometimes a habit or an act of politeness binds us to a person who we know only makes us feel negative. To achieve a positive experience, you need to distance yourself from the negative people in your life. It’s easier said than done if it’s a person you work with! But simple habits like giving that person less of your time and thoughts (as much as possible) really creates a difference. Some people will give you energy and others will draw it from you. For a positive experience, gravitate towards the energy inspiring others.

3. Give something back

Helping others is the ultimate selfless act which allows us to feel more positive. Perhaps there’s a cause that had gained your attention? If not, a little research could help you find a charity that means something to you. Often, we focus on the bad things in our life and lack appreciation. To get out of this pattern, helping others who are experiencing a greater level of negativity than we are can really help.

4.Nourish your body

Simple things like eating healthy foods and drinking healthy drinks can help us to feel more positive in body and mind. When was the last time you had a really detox? As in, no caffeine, alcohol, or bad foods? Of course, it’s not always easy! However, spending even a week detoxing can make a world of difference to how you feel in your body and mind. Of course, it doesn’t mean never indulging in the odd glass of wine , some chocolate or a vape (or whatever your vices are)! It just means allowing yourself to have a break and take things back to basics. As well as this, try some new plant-based health supplements. From St John’s Wort to Ashdawagna or CBD Oil, herbs have a great deal to offer our bodies and minds. For those interested in the benefits of CBD oil for reducing anxiety and stress, Vsavi offer an amazing vape kit

When it comes to improving your wellness, it’s often the most simple practices that do the trick. Why not give a few of these a try today and get going on your positive journey!
