It’s Mental health Awareness Week 2020
I’m so glad that we are speaking more about mental health but we still have a long way to go. Mental health affects everyone – either you have been personally affected or you know someone who has. Mental health issues such as anxiety and depression are increasing year after year and this is because we live in a stressful world with many challenges. You are not alone. I am a counsellor and I have anxiety at times and have suffered from depression in the past. Mental health is a part of all of us.
Mental Health Awareness Week is the UK’s national week to raise awareness of mental health and mental health problems and inspire action to promote the message of good mental health for all.
Mental Health Awareness Week has been run by the Mental Health Foundation since 2001.
