I’ve recently come across this brilliant invention that helps you to calm your mind and clear the ‘noise’ in your head. It’s fairly pricey (see below) but can you put a price tag on your mental health? Learning to be mindful takes great skill and it’s something I constantly have to work at and that’s why I think this device and accompanying app is just wonderful.

Muse works as a personal meditation assistant. Muse is a brain sensing headband that measures your brain activity and responds accordingly. It is linked to an app on your phone that plays relaxing music.  One of the sounds is rain and if you start to think too much, the sound of the rain gets louder, hence alerting you to slow your thinking down and get back into the present moment. The moe you practise this, the easier and more automatic it will become for you.

I have ordered mine and cam 100% recommend this as a great tool towards a calmer outlook and a better quality of life. I have battled for so long to come up with ways to remain mindful and have always found that my mind tends to wander within seconds. This device helps to remind me to stay present and keeps my mind from worrying unnecessarily. Love it!  Mandy X
