Self isolation – week two corona virus

Well the boredom continues. I often advise clients to take care of themselves as this can provide a psychological boost and improve your mood. With all this time on my hands, due to the coronia virus pandemic, I decided to take my own advice.

I have no access to a hairdresser or anyone to help my sagging face and other saggy bits. Sigh, getting older has it’s challenges. So here is what I have bought in the past week to try improve my looks. Not sure if it is working yet… by the way, I haven’t been paid to promote any of these products, I just found them on Amazon and decided to give them a go.

I have used the one product before and found it was really good at restoring my hair. It has been damaged after all the colouring I have done! It’s called Olaplex.

I also bought a fask mask to wear at night. Gave me a bit of earache (pull the lowers ones over your ears first and this makes it a bit better) the first night (you sleep with it on) but the second night was much better and my lower face has felt lovely and soft since using it. Not too sure if my chubby cheeks are reducing due to this mask or because I may have lost a kilogram or two.

The third product I bought looked good but I haven’t quite mastered it yet. If you put too much on it makes you look ridiculous and goes a bit white and crusty.

Beverly Hills instant facelift and eye tuck serum – for dark circles and puffiness.

I still have to experiment with this one so I can’t say whether I recommed it or not yet. It tightens the skin and feels a little weird when you put it on.

Anyhow, this has been taking away some of my boredom and it feels good to be trying to improve myself. I am also putting hand cream on at night, I never normally do this either. Now I just need to get stuck in with the exercise.

On top of the above, I still have to keep up with my usual treatments to keep my lungs healthy. That consists of approximately 10 – 15 tablets each day and 4 rounds of nebulising. Thankfully, they don’t take as long as they used to as developments have been made in the treatment of Cystic Fibrosis.

I am getting all the sleep I need, which is amazing and there has been NO guilt – that’s the best part. Normally I have so much to do during the day but lately, due to the corona virus pandemic, there has been a lot less to attend to. I know when life gets back to normal I will miss having all this guilt-free time.

Make the most of it – look after yourself and enjoy the lack of a to-do list.
