Ultimately, we all want to feel loved, appreciated and safe. Live life within your own unique framework of ethics and values. Know who you are and cultivate self reliance. Once you have this core stability, everything on the periphery becomes simpler.
It is a mistake to think that happiness, validation and security comes from external sources. These obviously influence all of us but maintaining core stability, working on yourself and being an independently functioning, autonomous being will make you feel more loved, appreciated and safe in the long run.
Once you no longer chase precarious forms of acceptance you will automatically feel stronger.
