The power of life-affirming affirmations

Affirmations are proven methods of self-improvement because of their ability to rewire our brains. Much like exercise, they raise the level of feel-good hormones and push our brains to form new clusters of “positive thought” neurons

The Law of Attraction

Simply put, the Law of Attraction is the ability to attract into our lives whatever we are focusing on.

It is believed that regardless of age, nationality, or religious belief, we are all susceptible to the laws which govern the Universe, including the Law of Attraction. It is the Law of Attraction that uses the power of the mind to translate whatever is in our thoughts and materialize them into reality.

In basic terms, all thoughts turn into things eventually.

If you focus on negative doom and gloom you will remain under that cloud. If you focus on positive thoughts and have goals that you aim to achieve you will find a way to achieve them with massive action.

I am not convinced by The Law of Attraction as it can create a case of cognitive bias. Although I will say that it can’t harm you if you focus on what you do want rather than what you don’t want. So there are some useful processes to consider.

Life-affirming affirmations

I possess the qualities needed to be extremely successful.

I am guided in my every step by Spirit who leads me towards what I must know and do.

I am superior to negative thoughts and low actions.

I have been given endless talents which I begin to utilize today.

Happiness is a choice

This will pass

I can cope with whatever comes my way

I am capable and trust my inner wisdom to guide me

Failure is a lesson in life and nothing to be afraid of

I have what I need to find love and feel happy

I am open and receptive to all the wealth life offers me.

I am loved, loving and lovable.

I accept and love myself unconditionally

I have the freedom & power to create the life I desire.

I am becoming the best version of myself

My body supports me provides energy for me every day

Being happy comes easy to me. Happiness is my second nature.

I am fun, kind and easy to be with

I alone hold the truth of who I am.

I am allowed to ask for what I want and what I need.

I am growing and I am going at my own pace.

I am right where I need to be in my life right now and good things are on the horizon.

I belong here, and I deserve to take up space.

My opinion is as important as everyone else’s

I embrace change seamlessly and rise to the new opportunity it presents.

I embrace the questions in my heart and welcome the answers in their own time.

I have everything I need to succeed.

Today I celebrate that I am younger than I’m ever going to be.

Today will be a good day and I will not let petty issues bring me down

When I release shame, I move into myself more beautifully.

When I speak my needs, I receive them abundantly.

The more you read and think life-affirming affirmations, the more automatic they become to you. Program life-affirming inspiring affirmations into your mind and you will find you have an added spring in your step. It’s called “priming” and it works!!
