Week three corona virus pandemic

Bored bored bored….

I have been going on walks in the countryside and getting to know all the local wildlife on a first name basis…I love my sleep so I only get up late. I tend to work fast though so mostly catch up on whatever I need to do.

I have joined Weight Watchers and have been on the diet programme for one week. Not going as well as planned as I put on half a kilo! Somehow, I have now lost half a kilo two days later – very confusing. It’s hard trying to diet when you’re at home with not much to do…and so close to the kitchen.

I have my blog to do daily and I am writing as well but some days I just can’t be arsed. I also see a few clients online during the week.

On my walks, I encounter swans, horses, pheasants, cows with calves and sheep with lambs – it’s a lovely time of year. The lockdown has helped me to be more mindful and in the present moment and I hope I can keep this up when lockdown ends.

I am probably getting just as much done, possibly even more so because I am focused on what really needs to be done. It seems easier to prioritise when you slow down and feel less stressed.

The thing to watch though is that I find the less I do, the less I want to do. getting back to normal might be quite a shock to the system.

I hope if you are reading this that you are safe and not feeling alone or frustrated with the current state of affairs. There are many positives to having more time on your hands so use this wisely as it won;t last forever.
